Meeting of the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on European Integration Matters Volodymyr Vecherko, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kostiantyn Hryshchenko and Chairman of the Committee of Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament Gabriele Albertini

In the course of the meeting, G. Albertini stated that initialling of the Agreement on Association with the EU together with the free trade zone up to the end of the year, shall be decisive step on the way to full-featured integration of Ukraine to the European Union.

Volodymyr Vecherko emphasized special importance of the development of cooperating between regions of Ukraine and the EU member countries as it is an essential task of our state on the way of European integration.

He also stated great interest of our state in implementation of common projects with the European Union in Donbas region that would give additional impulse to pro-European course in the eastern territories of Ukraine.
